UIF Limits

Monthly UIF limit (ceiling): The maximum contribution which can be deducted, for employees who earn more than R14 872 per month, is R148.72 per month.

When to register for VAT

It is mandatory for a business to register for VAT if the total value of taxable supplies made in any consecutive twelve month period exceeded or is likely to exceed R1 million. If your monthly turnover starts exceeding R80 000 you should start the registration of VAT process.
